Syphonix Drainage System: Originally sold under the trade name Guzzler, this product has been re-branded to align with its position as the only portable roof drainage system on the market today.

This has another purpose – to develop and launch a range of products for a variety of purposes based on the brilliantly simple, but extremely effective, syphon head design. Currently, two versions are available; the Portable and Auto models.

Syphonix Portable was originally acquired to help Leaktector test engineers clear water from roofs to be tested but immediately found favour with roofing contractors anxious to speed up the drying process following rainfall. Where a roof has poor falls, the rainwater system cannot cope with deluges or drains become blocked, Syphonix Portable provides an immediate solution.

Syphonix Auto was a logical extension to the process, having been developed to meet a real need in the UK roofing industry - ie how to relieve permanent ponding or flooding on roofs quickly and easily without expensive refurbishment or re-alignment of the roof system itself. In addition to the normal benefits expected, one of Rainmasters’ automatic units is already providing relief for a south coast manufacturer of personal hygiene products, which needs to eliminate risk of algae entering the air handling system.
