Repairs to expansion joints, edge details, outlets, etc. Protection of vehicles from damaging leaks
Car park expansion joints can fail for a variety of reasons. They often have a reinforced but flexible membrane bonded to the asphalt layers with epoxy resin, which either fails on the joint or causes the asphalt to fail at the edge.
The first step is to establish the cause of failure, then design a specification that will resolve it.
Depending on cause, this might be an extension of the membrane or a total overlay.
Either way, the joint can be brought back to performance design standard without the need for a very expensive new jointing system.
